The Beamshield II is a great shield for the last parts of the GOF2 Storyline. It has a affordable price and good stats. However, players considering playing Valkyrie or Supernova should move up to a better shield like a Fluxed Matter Shield or a Particle Shield. This is the best shield money can buy, as Fluxed Matter Shield and Particle Shield can only be made from Blueprints.

- As stated, this is the best shield that can be found in space station shops and the best non-blueprint shield available.
- It has the fastest recharging rate out of all shields in the game.
- It’s appearance somewhat resembles a ship engine, where the back part is the combustion system and front is the motor that drives the propellers of a ship.
- The “II” in it’s name could mean the 2nd generation of the Beamshield shield generators, however, there is no Beamshield I or a predecessor model just like the Nuyang II.
