The 'My Wikia' Rant
What in the name of Mkkt Bkkt is this app?
The one and only app Wikia makes to represent its name and it is worth nothing compared to just jumping onto your mobile browser. All you can do is read articles and scroll through unoraginzed pages selected at random by the app. It's really bad. I'm trying my best not to lose it, but I'm fed up with trying to deal with this thing. (You can't even log in to Wikia, but you can always log in to Pocket and Instapaper! Whatever that is.)
I originally got it to see if it would be a good alternative to having to use the somewhat slow mobile web brower I have. I downloaded it, saw you couldn't edit, went 'meh', and discarded it. Unfortunately, it came back to bite me when my browser decided it wasn't going…
Game Play on a Kindle Fire
Ok, hi finally got this figured out. I downloaded the GOF2HD on my Kindle Fire about a week or so ago. Looks amazing, btw. Blew thru the game story to destroy the Viod Mother-ship during the first day. I've been trying to figure out what to do next to get something else going. I've got all the medals and about $15 million in cash. I think I have all the blueprints accept maybe 3. So where can I go from here to unlock more of this game?
Would like anyone else playing on the Kindle Fire or an administrator to jump in here to discus game play.
I know it's off topic from GOF.. But it makes me wonder if this is legit?

So I still haven't been able to try the Manticore on Apple TV and probably won't. I hope the game will come soon on iOS devices. From what I read it is supposed to come out soon this year? Oh well I hope it will be a success :)

So recently, I changed a bit of my ship's load out, as well as my ship, and am currently using the dark angel, and though I do own a void x, I don't really use it. Anyone want to suggest anything? From what I learned people are not on this wiki often anymore. I was inactive for a while and I can see why there isn’t much to do. No forum activity. Most of the articles are complete or no one look at them. This makes it hard for new users to find stuff to do. We need to make new opportunities for new users. Do we want this to become the GOFA wiki all over again?

Hello, I was looking at some official concept art for galaxy on fire 2, and an idea popped into my head. Fishlabs has greated a beautiful universe with Galaxy on Fire, and why couldn't they expand - And make a console game, or even a small movie? The factions and conflict are terrifically created, you can almost feel for the mido alliance, or feel hate for the Vossk. The ships designed for each faction are spectacular, each type with it's own unique style. If Fishalbs was willing to leave behind mobile gaming, it could probably make something spectacular.
Just imagine it. Take the art and enviroment of the Galaxy On Fire series, make the Void a little more aggressive and theatrical, and take cues from other games and you could …

Dendra Ekta & Nepis
Apparantly the photos of Dendra Ekta are actually photos of Nepis? Now that's a bit of a problem. It also somewhat amusing, though, that I accidently noticed it. How did I distinguish between them? Well, look at the photo of Nepis. The ship has locked onto it, and it clearly says Nepis Station. Now compare them: they look exactly the same. Moreover, the photos of Nepis somehow got onto the Dendra Ekta page and the legitimate Dendra Ekta photos are nowhere to be seen.

Weapon Pairing
- I've posted this thread as a reply in the Forum, but i thought I'd make it a Blog to give everyone whom is not following the thread a chance to read it and benefit from it*
I've found that pairing your weapons by DPS is only have the trick, FIRING RANGE/DISTANCE is the other half. I always try to have 2 long-range and 2 short-range primaries installed on my ship, reason being is that not always will your targets be near, or far away constantly they fly around randomly and tend to speed away as you shoot at them and they become critical, so you need a short-range powerful primary for closeup fighting and have a long-range primary so that they are still within your reach as the speed away.

I visited the Scientific devision of the Nivelian sector (Okana in Paréah) and I discovered why we don't have turret slots on many of our ships. It's because most of us Nivelians are big on firepower. For the typical bomber and demolitions-friendly man, there's the Kinzer, for the all-rounder comes the Aegir, and the laser-friendly guy would love the Dace. But no turrets. The only ship that allows us to install a turret is the Salvéhn. So I decided to look further into this concept. It became noticeable to me that most Nivelians don't like turrets.

So I was gathering inside intel on Midorian ships, and this is what I discovered. So most of you think they are made out of rusty or orange panels, right? You are partly right when it comes to "Orange Panels." They are painted orange BUT they are.... wait for it.......
JUNKYARD PARTS. (This is also the reason their armor ratings are way ▼ there.)
Kernstal is secretly a junkyard manufacturing station, most of which is actually on the PLANET. Then it is taken to Merlur where they are painted orange. (Yes, Merlur is known for PAINT.) Then it is sent to Dekato to get assembled. Some say Kaamo used to be the ship manufacturer until pirates took hold of it. They turned it into a night club, which Mkkt Bkkt managed to buy soon after.

Hello everyone! So, I wanted to write this little post because im sure many fellow starnuts like myself finish the story line in all its completion and then go.."umm ok, what now?!" well, GOF2 is an awesome game right? So why stop playing it just because the storyline is done? YOU DONT! This is what i did to keep myself into the game and keep looking forward to accomplishing new things...SET YOURSELF GOALS!! I've been gone a while. I'm just cruising by and suddenly remembered I actually contributed here.
Also, I have sad news I should've communicated some time ago: My iPod cannot support Galaxy on Fire: Alliances, so I won't be joining you all soon. I don't intend on investing in a newer model, because I'm saving a significant amount of monies for my college education.
I still have the first two games, though, sitting on my iPod as I twiddle away at some other games that don't require so much of my time. Perhaps I should return to them and eventually get to expanding on the information that everyone else before has laid out.

I did not, repeat did not add the category pages with broken file links. I am only like 20 day old in this wiki I do not understand the whole category business as of yet. My main and primary goal as of now is to add stunning SD photos to the wiki and do minor edits like spelling or grammar. That is all.
I'm annoyed.
I am trying to contribute to this wiki, when I don't have current acess to the game because my iPad is dead. Lack of contribution in the future is the result of not being able to play the game at present. I am trying to get a new charger, but it hasn't arrived yet, so I cannot play the game or help on the wiki very much until I can start taking snapshots and use them to fill in stubs. True contribution requires materials.

Is there a point?
I'm hearing some people who think the Betty is awesome. But here's the catch:
IT'S NOT A BATTLESHIP.
You can't say a ship is awesome if it can't fight. Not saying it CAN'T, but it it very, VERY weak. I understand people have opinions (an I respect that) but there is no point in saying that the Betty is in any respects a good ship, based off its aspects.
