These star systems do not contain a jumpgate in any of its planets. In order to access them, you must use the Khador Drive.
Using the Khador Drive in an isolated system or when jumping to one requires 4t Energy Cells, so be sure to stock them up when planning to travel to isolated systems.
Most isolated systems contain something of value, whether to progress the storyline, battle pirates, or find an item that can't be found anywhere else such as blueprints and ships.
