Ships

Ships are vehicles used for intergalactic transport. They utilize a reactor engine to produce a thrust force which propels them forward. 

Below is a compilation of all ships in the Galaxy on Fire universe that can be piloted, complete with their individual attributes and market value.

Galaxy on Fire 2[]

In Galaxy on Fire 2, most ships contain weapon systems, which can be used for both defensive and offensive purposes. Many ships also contain many equipment modules, which can be used to install shields, armor, and various equipment. Turret slots are also present in certain ships.

Ships come in a large number of varieties, with each being suited to certain piloting styles. Smaller, offense-based ships are called fighters and have a lot of firepower and maneuver exceptionally, while larger ships made for transporting cargo are called freighters.

Note: The prices below reflect the Kaamo Club value for each ship, which is also used to calculate the upgrade costs in the Kaamo Club Space Lounge. The actual price may vary from station to station.

Deep Science[]

All ships developed by Deep Science include an integrated Khador Drive that does not count against the number of equipment slots available. You can buy these ships only at Kothar, in the Beidan system.

Most Wanted[]

The last criminal of each faction's Most Wanted board is seen piloting one these ships. After defeating his ship, it will be up for sale in Quineros, in the Loma system.

Kaamo Club Exclusive[]

The prices listed are for players who have purchased the Kaamo Club VIP card.  Otherwise, these are doubled.  These ships are available from the Kaamo space lounge after purchasing the station with either credits or through the expansion.

Galaxy On Fire 3D[]

Ships from Galaxy on Fire 3D exist in 4 classes: Scouts, Fighters, Gunships, and Bombers.

Scouts and Fighters are very maneuverable but have only 2-3 Weapon Systems. These ships tend to have smaller cargo holds.

Gunships and Bombers have 4-5 Weapon Systems but are not very maneuverable. These ships tend to have larger cargo holds.

Your ship determines the different types of Weapons you can equip. All ships can equip one shield.

Ship Buying Prices

The Tech Level of a Station or Planet determines the price of purchasing a ship. The higher the Tech Level, the lower the price.

Ship Selling Prices

The Tech Level of the Station or Planet the ship was bought at determines the price of selling the ship. The higher the Tech Level, the lower the price.

For Example: If an Icarus was purchased at a Tech Level 0 Location for 40000 Cr. And was sold at a Tech Level 10 Location, its sell price would be 20000 Cr., not 18000 Cr.
