Christine Hammond was a lieutenant of the Terran Space Fleet. She was also an assumed love interest of Keith T. Maxwell.

Keith T. Maxwell together with her destroyed the Vossk convoy carrying weapons near Vega 15

They participated in the attack on the immobilized Vossks frigate with the commander on board

The next time they meet is during the defense of the Nivelian Station owned Botom Krant

She found out before anyone else that Vlad Borsikov was organizing attacks by outlaws on convoys. Having figured out his location, she instructed Keith to demine the field in front of the planet where he was hiding

After the clearing, Hammond along with several pilots, went to eliminate Vlad's gang. After destroying several ships, all the other pilots remained to guard the sector, and Keith with Christine went to find Vlad. Having reached the asteroid field, they discover Borsikov and Christine is the first to attack. However, during a firefight, Vlad destroys Hammond's ship and escapes

Admiral Smith considered the death of Christine to be a heavy loss for the Terran Fleet

Later, Keith avenged Christine's death by killing Vlad Borsikov during the Battle of NovaTerra
