In-Game Description

This weapon was created out of necessity after violent attacks on traders became increasingly common. The company GalacticArms saw a good business opportunity and developed a powerful EMP weapon, which was then seized by pirates. The upside is that pirate raids on dealers tend to be less dangerous these days as trader ships are usually only paralyzed, rather than damaged.
