- Gold is one of three minerals in the game that can be found on Earth. The other two being Iron and Titanium.
- Gold is a chemical element with the symbol Au and atomic number 79. Due to the softness of Gold, it is unknown why such element is utilized in the construction of Mass Driver MD10, an auto-cannon weapon that requires constant pounding.
