The Mass Driver MD 12, is the successor weapon of the earlier Mass Driver MD 10. It is in the Supernova DLC pack, but in order to buy it, you don't need the DLC.

In-Game Description

The Mass Driver MD12 is by far the deadliest ballistic weapon that is legally available on the market. The penetration power of the Mass Driver's projectiles is significantly enhanced by an artificial coating which the bullets receive only moments before they're fired off. This procedure results in a damage rate that is absolutely unrivalled for this kind of weapon.

• The Mass Driver MD 12 can only be bought from Jakk Zoboon in the Kaamo Club Space Lounge.
• It is the successor to the Mass Driver MD 10.
• This is the weapon used by a Blue Fyre in the Supernova Challenge, along with 2 Mimung Blasters.
• It is the most powerful auto cannon.
• The rate of fire and overall fierceness of the weapon can be drastically increased by mounting a Nirai Overdrive on your ship.
• Has the same bullet texture as the Mass Driver MD 10.
