Passenger transport is a freelance mission offered in Galaxy on Fire 3D and Galaxy on Fire 2.
Objective[]
In Galaxy on Fire 3D[]
"Mission briefing:
Pasenger voyage through enemy territory. The highest is reaching the destination within the time limit, if there is one."
The client will give Keith directions to the location the indeterminate number of passengers need to be sent to. Upon starting the mission, the player must reach the two waypoints the client has given. The first is usually around five kilometres away, while the second is at least thirty kilometres away from the first, involving almost turning around to reach it.
Along the way, enemies will try to shoot down Keith. It is not necessary to shoot down the enemy ships, but they will continue to attack if left to pursue. The higher the difficulty of the mission, the more enemies Keith will encounter and the tighter the time limit.Verify! Because of the distance needed to cross and the potential for a time limit, it is very much advised for the player to boost constantly.
Upon reaching the second waypoint, the client will hail you and notify you of your reward.
In Galaxy on Fire 2[]
Completing passenger missions in this game is similar to the previous, but with more stipulations with the new mechanics introduced. However, there is no time limit to the mission, possibly to not raise questions about the passage of time when using any warp-drive mechanic.
A client in a space lounge will ask Keith to transport between three and twenty passengers to a particular planet's station. The destination can be as close as the same station, and can be as far as the opposite side of the known galaxy. However, before he can transport anybody, he needs to install passenger cabins equal or greater than the number of passengers requested by the client.
If the player forgets the destination the client stated, he can either check the map, where it is marked with a silver jet plane icon, or the "Missions" submenu, where it is listed on the right-hand column.
Travelling to the destination station may involve using jumpgates, or the Khador Drive if the player has constructed one. Pirates and any enemy factions may be encountered along the way, but, like in the previous game, defeating them is not necessary.
Upon landing in the hangar of the destination, the client will notify you of your reward, which is dependent on the player's level and reputation.
