Spoiler Alert!
This article contains plot details about Galaxy on Fire.
The Plasma Array was the key role into reversing the supernova in the Supernova add-on. It was designed by Thadellonius Moonsprocket and constructed by the Deep Science team. Its main components are Chromo Plasma, and the Paréah prisms.
The original Plasma Array was destroyed by an armada of Stealth Fighters. The plasma igniters were still salvageable, and were fitted onto the Valkyrie (Station) after Keith T. Maxwell coerced Alice into giving up the station.
It was later reconstructed with the Valkyrie Station, to attempt to neutralize the supernova. After the Terrans loses communications with it while dealing with a squad of Stealth Fighters, Alice arrives at it in her Cicero, to reclaim it. After she gets onboard and takes control of it, she begins to fly away with the station. Carla and Brent Snocom warns everyone about it, Keith T. Maxwell and Trunt Harval goes after her. Keith convinces Alice to stop what she's doing, while Trunt Harval, believing that it attempts to escape, shoots at the Plasma Array, causing it to explode and burst into flames. Alice attempts to use the Khador Drive to escape from the situation with the station, only to discover it removed. Keith T. Maxwell orders her to fire the Plasma Array, the station explodes again, and without any choice, she complies. The implosion destroys the Plasma Array and Valkyrie, and presumably the Terran/Black Guard ships At the end, all other Terran members seems to have been killed by the supernova implosion, as they are not present again, but Keith T. Maxwell and Trunt Harval somehow survives the implosion.
Usage[]
The Array was used to reverse the supernova in the Ginoya system and was destroyed during the Implosion of the supernova.
Appearance[]
- When fired, the Array creates a circle of plasma in front of it. The plasma forms in a clockwise direction, until it reaches its starting point. The circle forms approximately 1.1km away from the array, which then stretches into the center of the desired sun from which the Supernova appeared, creating a screaming sound as it reverses the sun.
- In the SD version, the plasma formed is yellow. However, in HD and Full HD, the plasma is red.
