Scanners allow pilots to safely detect unknown objects, such as asteroids and other ships. Despite its name, the Telta Quickscan is actually very slow.
Trivia[]
- You receive one of these when you work for Gunant Breh early in the game at Var Hastra. Gunant will allow you to keep it.
- The description reads that a scanner is used to detect asteroids, but there is no such mechanism in the game, as there's no need for such purpose. (Except for Hiroto Ultrascan's ability to find class-A asterioids easily)
