This ship was designed as a lightweight rocket ship and is often used by the Nivelian armed forces in large battles. This model has been slightly scaled back for the civilian market.

Characteristics

The Type 43 is a useful early- to mid-game support ship. It has excellent armor, handling, and Secondary slots for its price, but has a tiny cargo hold and average number of equipment slots. An excellent third ship to buy after the Hiro or Night Owl to keep a large number of Secondary slots.

Trivia

• Trot Lykkt piloted a Type 43 equipped with the prototype Disruptor laser that he had stolen from Netor.
• The Type 43 is used as Nivelian basic interceptor in Galaxy on Fire: Alliances.
• The ship is the only Nivelian ship to have a number in its name, and the only ship to do so in the game, apart from the Razor 6.
